14U softball sweeps twinbill

Fairmont’s 14U softball team took two wins Wednesday night against Springfield.

Fairmont won the first game 15-2 and took the second 10-3.

Mandy Pytleskie pitched four innings and allowed two runs on three hits and two walks, while striking out three in the first game.

Allison Janssen pitched two innings and gave up three runs on three hits and four walks, while striking out two in the second game. Nevaeh Rahm pitched the final two innings of the second game and gave up no runs on one hit and one walk, while sending one batter to the bench with a strikeout.

Emily Muller had three hits between the two games, while Kynlie Anderson, Ava Terfehr, Emma Gudahl, Pytleskie and Rahm each had two.

Fairmont’s record is now 21-8.
