Robert C. Parker
FAIRMONT — Graveside services for Robert C. Parker, 76, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held at a later date at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont, Minn. Robert passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, at his home in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Robert C. Parker was born on May 4, 1949, in Fairmont, Minn., the son of Albert and Esther (Yahnke) Parker. Bobby grew up in Fairmont and received his education attending Fairmont Public Schools.
Bobby faced the adversities that he was born with bravely and with grace. He lived at home for many years with his mother and worked with REM. Following the passing of his mother, Bobby moved into a REM home and created lasting friendships with the other residents and staff there.
Left to cherish his memory is a sister, Marlene Peterson of Hudson, Wis.; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Esther Parker; sisters, Karen Cox, Mary Ellen Mathwig, and Clarice Keith; brothers, Don Parker and Lee Parker; as well as many in-laws, and extended family.
