Bruce Martin Leimer
TRUMAN — Bruce Martin Leimer was born on Dec. 21, 1949, in Fairmont, Minn. to Ernest Leimer and Flora (Harms) Leimer. He attended elementary school in Northrop and graduated from Truman High School. He worked in construction and was part-owner of Leimer Construction.
He married Darlene Hendricks on Jan. 29, 1977. They had two children: Joshua (Libby) of St. Michael, Minn. and Zebulun (DeDe) Leimer of Green Isle, Minn. He also had four grandchildren: Ethan, Ellie, Collin and Adrian. During their life together they lived in Truman, Fairmont, South Haven and the last years he lived in Engel Haus Assisted Living in Albertville, Minn.
Bruce passed away on Dec. 3, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Darlene, his sons, and grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Paul Leimer of Truman and Glen Leimer of Truman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Flora Leimer, a brother, David Leimer, and sisters, Cindy Squier and Marsha Leimer.
Bruce will be laid to rest at Ft. Snelling Cemetery in St. Paul. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
