Gail was called to her eternal rest Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 12, 2025, at her home in rural Butterfield. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church in Odin. Kramer Family Funeral Home of Sherburn, Trimont and Welcome, is in charge of arrangements.

Gail Virginia Redmond was born July 24, 1937, in St. James, Minn., to Lee and Lorene (Conley) Redmond.

Gail is survived by her two daughters, Pat Johnson of rural Dunnell, Minn. and Julie (Russell) Nelson of Ormsby, Minn.; grandchildren, Alex, Kyle, Tyler, Ryan, Haley, Stacey; grandchildren, Erin, Makenna, Andy, Dillon, Selena, Claire, Kate, Cora, Campbell and Gretchen; sister-in-law, June Johnson of Rochester, Minn.; other relatives and friends.
