Sunday worship service at Martin County Fair

Community Worship Service at the Fair will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17 in the Park at the Martin County Fairgrounds, Fairmont. The service includes live band worship and exciting faith stories. Prior to the service, donuts and coffee will be served at 9:00 a.m. The public is welcome. In case of inclement weather the service will be in the Martin County Arena. Bring a friend.

Art Mart in Fairmont

The Imagine Martin Art Mart will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, at West 1st Street and Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. The Art Mart will be held every other Thursday until September. For additional information about the event, contact info@imaginemartin.com.

Pokemon Card Club

The Pokémon Card Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. There is no cost to attend. Registration is not required. Wednesday coffee at the Chubb House

The historic Chubb House in Fairmont is open from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays for coffee and more. Stop in to learn more about the first and only brick home in Martin County, and the man who built it in 1867 for his family, Dr. Orville P. Chubb. Get acquainted with Fairmont’s rich history and the volunteers who have worked hard to preserve this building. Healthy Weigh support group

The Healthy Weigh weight loss support group will meet on Wednesdays at Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church in Fairmont. The optional weigh-in will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the support meeting at 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday Community Worship at the Park

Grace Lutheran Church will host Wednesday Community Worship at the Park at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Sylvania Park Bandshell. Rain or shine. Messages each week from a variety of local pastors and community members. All are welcome.
