Marlyn J. Walterman
FAIRMONT — A Celebration of Life Service for Marlyn J. Walterman, 91, of Fairmont, Minn. will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Fairmont. Military honors will be provided by the Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post #36 and the Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1222 outside the church following the service. Burial will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Fairmont.
Walterman passed away Sunday afternoon, June 8, 2025, at the Lakeview Methodist Healthcare Center in Fairmont. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family to put towards a bench that will be placed at the Martin County Fairgrounds in memory of Marlyn and Beverly. Lakeview Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
