Julie passed away Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at her home in rural Fairmont. Visitation with her family will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Welcome. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Welcome is in charge of arrangements.

Julie Ann Schlager was born Feb. 17, 1960, in Jackson, Minn., to Donald and Marilyn (Poynter) Schlager.

Survivors include: her husband, John Speckman of rural Fairmont; her parents, Don and Marilyn Schlager of Welcome; brothers, Steven Schlager of Truman, Mark Schlager of Welcome; and many other relatives and friends.
