KILLEEN, Texas — Glen Charles Root, 71, of Killeen, Texas, formerly of New Richland, Minn., and Fairmont, Minn., died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021. A private family memorial service will be held at the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fairmont. Graveside service will be held at Ringsted Memorial Cemetery, Ringsted, Iowa. Glen is survived by his son, Matthew (Danielle) Root of Bloomington, Minn.; four sisters; and one brother. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bette Root; parents; one sister; and an infant brother.
