FAIRMONT— The city council meeting on Monday was the first for Fairmont’s new city administrator, Jason Baker. Homicide suspect and victims identified

MANKATO — Mankato authorities have identified those involved in a shooting on Sunday that left one dead and one injured. The suspect, Joseph David Bulfer, 44, of Fairmont, was apprehended at the scene by responding officers. According to a release from Mankato police, at approximately 1:36 p.m. on April 26, 911 dispatch received a call from a person who believed someone was shooting in a neighboring residence on Castle Pines Drive in Mankato.
