Lenten services tonight at area churches

SHERBURN — A CREST Lunch and Learn program will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Sherburn. The program is about Alert Medical Alert System, presented by an Interfaith Caregiver from Blue Earth representative. A lunch will follow. This is a free program for senior citizens in Martin County. Building Blocks speaks on paid leave, first months of business

FAIRMONT – Building Blocks gave an update on their current state after their first few months of business during Monday’s Martin County Economic Development Authority (EDA) meeting. The Martin County EDA in June of 2025 had approved a $100,000 forgivable loan for expansion of the child care center in Fairmont as it would help fill a need in the community.
