City council, school board meet next week
TRUMAN — The MN Department of Natural Resources is waiving entrance and vehicle permit fees on June 14 at all Minnesota State Parks.
Dad’s Belgian Waffles will be served from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, at the Lewisville American Legion. Enjoy waffles, toppings, sausage and beverages. All you can eat for $10 per person, and children under five are free. Proceeds benefit the Lewisville Ambulance. Takeouts are available.
Flag Day is June 14, the anniversary of the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as the official United States flag in 1777.

Second Harvest Heartland, a nutrition assistance program for seniors, will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 18. Come to Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman to pick up your box. Eligibility is based on age, 60 years and up, household size, and income. Pre-register at 1 (800) 365-0270.
Laura Pilarski of 4-H is coming to the Truman Library back room at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18. Join Laura, where you will be doing fun projects. The Bravo Zulu House has joined forces with Tee It Up for the Troops. They are excited to announce their first annual golf and pickleball fundraising event to benefit Tee It Up for the Troops and Bravo Zulu House.
