CEYLON — Today is the date for the all-school reunion in Ceylon at the Legends ll building. On Center Street, west of the Legends, will be available for visiting too. Social hour begins at 4 p.m. and the catered reserved dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. Entertainment by Steve Lang and Bob Petrowiak will run from 7-11 p.m. The Ceylon Area Historical Society Museum will be open at 10 a.m. today. Check out all the pictures of the graduating classes that used to hang in the school hallway and many more items from the City, school and area. The museum is across the street from the post office in the back part of the old city hall building.

Today is also the date for the Martin County Relay for Life fundraiser and celebration for cancer survivors, families of cancer patients, and others, from 4-10 p.m. at the Martin County Fairgrounds in Fairmont. The American Cancer Society will sponsor the events like a pork meal, ceremonies for survivors, butterfly release, luminaries and the final silent walk at 10 p.m.

St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn will have one last June Tuesday coffee hour from 8:30-10 a.m. June 28. The Regional Worship Center in Sherburn is planning to host Tuesday coffee hours in July. In Ceylon there are Thursday coffee lovers meetings from 8:30-10 a.m. Join friends and neighbors for good coffee and warm fellowship.
