Crystal Elizabeth F. Sell, 44, of Wells was convicted of third-degree driving while impaired-one aggravating factor; fined $615, sentence to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for one year, credit for time served two days, can serve remaining 28 days on EHM with alco-sensor at defendant’s expense, Huber work release is granted if eligible, two years supervised probation, sentence to service eight days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, follow all recommendations of evaluation done 8/17/22 at Mayo Clinic to include high intensive inpatient treatment services, complete mental health screening within 90 days or while in inpatient treatment and follow all recommendations, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed.
Keilin Y. Gaitan, 26, of Des Moines, Iowa was convicted of speeding; fined $225. Also convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $100. Additional charges of child passenger restraint system not fastened for child under the age of 8 and under 57 inches tall, and no insurance-driver violation, were both dismissed.
William B. Varnadore, 38, of Truman was convicted of speeding; fined $135. Also convicted of marijuana in motor vehicle-less than 1.4 grams; fined $50.
Gloria Steele, 58, of Wells had a charge of fifth-degree assault continued for dismissal; six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar.
Scott S. Steele, 53, of Wells had a charge of fifth-degree assault continued for dismissal; fined $75, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar.
