Max R. Pierson, 41, of Truman received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession-in school/park/public housing zone; fined $1,085, sentenced to jail 90 days, credit for time served 26 days, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, pay for and complete comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer to include providing a valid medical THC prescription and proof of purchase from approved MN vendors to supervising agent, attend MADD impact panel within first year of probation, obtain employment, maintain employment, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana, and misdemeanor charges of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana, fifth-degree assault-fear of bodily harm, fourth-degree driving while impaired, disorderly conduct-offensive/abusive/noisy/obscene, obstruct legal process-interfere with peace officer, possess/sale small amount of marijuana-no remuneration, contempt of court-willful disobedience to court mandate, domestic abuse-violate No Contact Order, operate motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance, uninsured vehicle-owner violation, snow emergency parking, overnight parking, possess over 1.4 grams of marijuana in a motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were all dismissed.

Elijah L. Vlieger, 18, of Granada was convicted of trespass-return to property within one year; fined $185, one year unsupervised probation, don’t return to the Fairmont Walmart for term of this case, no same or similar.
