John H. Helt, III, 42, of Ceylon was convicted on a felony charge of theft by swindle; fined $1,085, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 13 months, stayed two years, sentenced to jail 38 days, credit for time served 23 days, two years supervised probation, contact with probation within 24 hours of being released from custody, restitution reserved, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency if recommended by probation, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, cognitive skill training if recommended by probation agent, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored.

Nettifee, 58, of Fairmont was convicted of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol; fined $810, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for two years, credit for time served two days, work release is granted, serve jail sentence on EHM with alco-sensor, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete comprehensive assessment and provide copy to probation, follow all recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, attend MADD impact panel, cooperate with any post-sentencing investigation, restitution reserved, no same or similar, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charge of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours was dismissed.

Sa Lay Htoo, 30, of Roseville was convicted of speeding; fined $225. Also convicted of child passenger restraint system-improperly worn or used; fined $50.

Brekka M. Loveng, 31, of Trimont was convicted of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $310, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 363 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year supervised probation, pay restitution, remain law-abiding.
