Michael L. Schmit, 31, of Winnebago received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $460, sentenced to jail six days, credit for time served six days, one year supervised probation, sentence to service eight hours for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, complete comprehensive assessment and follow all recommendations including aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law.
Kevin O. Coats, 26, of Fairmont was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $200. Also convicted of speeding; fined $145.
Solomon Pio Sagot, 42, of Sioux Falls, S.D. was convicted of careless driving-operate any vehicle carelessly on street or highway; fined $94,335.75, restitution $94,235.75, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, pay restitution, no misdemeanor or greater traffic violations, no same or similar. Also convicted of failure to drive with due care; fined $125.
Rebecca M. Stallkamp, 29, of Bricelyn had a charge of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol continued for dismissal; six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, six months no same or similar.
Matthew F. Beck, 33, of St. Cloud was convicted of possess ammo of any forearm-previous felony conviction; fined $75, sentenced to jail 365 days, credit for time served 106 days. Additional charge of pharmacy-unlawfully possess/sell/give away/barter/exchange legend drugs was dismissed.
Patricia M. Powles, 70, of Winnebago was convicted of disorderly conduct-offensive/abusive/boisterous/noisy/obscene; fined $260. Additional felony charge of terroristic threats-cause or attempt terror was dismissed.
