Lee S. Schiefen, 32, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $75, sentenced to jail 30 days, credit for time served seven days, work release and STS are granted, five years supervised probation, sentence to service 10 days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, complete comprehensive assessment and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, complete diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, obtain employment, maintain employment, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Also convicted of counterfeiting of currency-uttering or possessing; fined $111, restitution $36, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for two years, credit for time served seven days, work release and STS are granted, concurrent with other case, two years supervised probation, sentence to service 10 days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, pay $36 restitution, cognitive skill training such as ‘Thinking for a Change’ as directed by supervising agent, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. An additional felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession-in school/park/public housing, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were both dismissed.

Brady A. Eytcheson, 25, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $100, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 21 months, stayed five years, sentenced to jail 45 days, credit for time served 28 days, five years supervised probation, sentence to service 10 days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, enter and successfully complete Drug Court, follow all recommendations for care and aftercare from most recently completed comprehensive assessment, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, cognitive skill training as directed by probation agent, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. An additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, was dismissed.

Morgan M. English, 27, of Welcome was convicted of marijuana in motor vehicle-less than 1.4 grams; fined $135. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia; fined $50.
