Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Deann J. Halliday, 38, of Medical Lake, Wash.; fined $110.

Rhajeun J. Logwood, 30, of Fairmont was convicted of domestic assault-subsequent violation; fined $100, sentenced to jail 365 days, credit for time served 15 days. Additional felony charge of domestic assault by strangulation was dismissed.

Chad A. Pina, 45, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of second-degree criminal sex conduct-victim under 13 and actor older than 36; fined $75, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 84 months, give a DNA sample when directed, predatory offender registration required. Additional felony charges of first-degree criminal sex conduct-penetration or contact with person under 13 and actor older than 36, first-degree criminal sex conduct-penetration with victim under 16-significant multiple acts over time, and second-degree criminal sex conduct-significant relationship with person under 16-multiple acts, were all dismissed.

David Salas, 42, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,185, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 366 days, stayed five years, sentenced to jail 60 days, credit for time served 19 days, concurrent with other case, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment, follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, if inpatient treatment is recommended then defendant is to be brought to treatment by MC Sheriff’s Office once the jail sentence is served in full, cognitive skill training as directed by probation agent, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain employment, maintain employment, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited was dismissed.

Ryan J. Werner, 34, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession in school/park/public housing zone; fined $1,185, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 27 months, stayed five years, sentenced to jail 90 days, credit for time served 30 days, work release is granted if eligible, defendant to receive good time, 30 actual days will need to be served in seven day increments for six months, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations, complete a comprehensive assessment and sign releases of information to obtain collateral information to be used in the assessment and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, maintain employment, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional felony charges of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana, domestic assault, domestic assault by strangulation, false imprisonment-intentional restraint, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were all dismissed.

Nicholas J. Melinsky, 42, of Winnebago was convicted of disorderly conduct-offensive/abusive/boisterous/noisy/obscene; fined $185, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no contact with victim(s), no same or similar.
