Driving after suspension — Rachael D. Zielske, 51, of Wells; fined $285.

Scott E. Winkle, 47, of Wells was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $685, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms or dangerous weapons if prohibited by law. Additional charges of fourth-degree driving while impaired, operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and no Minnesota drivers license, were all dismissed.

Daniel A. Diaz, 40, of Elk River was convicted of third-degree driving while impaired-one aggravating factor; fined $820, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for two years, credit for time served two days, serve work release if eligible, can serve balance of 28 days on EHM with alco-sensor at defendant’s expense, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, follow all recommendations of chemical dependency assessment completed 4/13/22, enter, complete and follow recommendations of relapse prevention treatment, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, attend Alcoholics Anonymous minimum of once weekly, take medications in prescribed dosage and frequency, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charges of fourth-degree driving while impaired, and speeding, were both dismissed.

Marroquin Ardany Giber, 20, of Wells was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Also convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $100.

Dawn I. Dunker, 53, of Fairmont was convicted of falsely reporting crime; fined $285, sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charge of fifth-degree assault was dismissed.

Eric A. Lawrence, 32, of Blue Earth was convicted of speeding; fined $385. Also convicted of unsafe passing against signs (no pass zone); fined $50. Additional charge of no proof of motor vehicle insurance was dismissed.
