Speeding — Emma T. Haskell, 19, of Rapid City, S.D.; Joshua P. Nickel, 45, of Bingham Lake; each fined $125.

Beth A. Celander, 41, of Granada; Brandon L. Hassing, 37, of Winnebago; each fined $145.

Expired registration — Thaddeus D. Abel, 26, of Fairmont; fined $115.

Matthew A. Burns, 31, of Fairmont was convicted of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol; fined $710, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, complete chemical use assessment, follow all recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, no same or similar. Additional charges of fourth-degree while impaired, driving while impaired-body contains any amount of a controlled substance, and driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type, were all dismissed.

Heidi Jo Halvorson, 35, of Fairmont was convicted of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $185, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, pay restitution if filed by County Attorney’s office in 30 days, don’t enter victim’s residence, don’t go back to Fairmont Walmart during the time of this case, no same or similar.

Joseph N. Silverthorn, 45, of Fairmont was convicted of open bottle law-possession; fined $135. Additional charges of vehicle registration/permit/plates required, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were both dismissed.

Cody C. Gullickson, 42, of Sherburn was convicted of reckless driving-drives consciously disregarding a substantial or justifiable risk; fined $285, sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, pay restitution if filed by County Attorney’s office within 30 days, no same or similar.

Timothy P. Burdick, 51, of St. Paul was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285, sentenced to jail six days, credit for time served six days. Additional charges of no insurance-owner violation, and failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle, were both dismissed.
