Michael D. Marsh, 52, of Cherokee, Iowa was convicted of domestic assault-subsequent violation; fined $585, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 355 days for one year, credit for time served 10 days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete approved domestic abuse batterer’s intervention program and follow all recommendations, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, have no new threatening or assaultive behaviors while on probation, no same or similar, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
