Driving after suspension — Matthew S. Daggett, 30, of Hopkins; fined $285.

Alejandro Gauna, 27, of Blue Earth was convicted of driving restrictions-drive/operate/control a motor vehicle without ignition interlock; fined $285, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, comply with ignition interlock program, do not drive vehicle that does not have the ignition interlock installed, don’t drive without a valid license, no same or similar. Additional charges of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety was dismissed.

Steven D. Nowak, 34, of Welcome was convicted of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $585, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 364 days for two years, credit for time served one day, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, cognitive skill training if requested by probation agent, don’t drive without a valid license, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, no same or similar, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charge of driving restrictions-alcohol/controlled substance violations was dismissed.

Brandon J. Houge, 44, of Columbia Heights was convicted of giving peace officer false name of another person; fined $100, sentenced to jail 365 days, credit for time served 49 days, sentence to service 10 days for indeterminate. Additional felony charges of third-degree controlled substance possession-in school/park/public housing zone, and fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were all dismissed.

Jacob M. Govern, 24, of Ledyard, Iowa was convicted on a felony charge of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle; fined $100, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 366 days, stayed five years, sentenced to jail 235 days, credit for time served 235 days, five year supervised probation. Also convicted on a felony charge of check forgery-possess with intent to defraud; sentenced to jail 235 days, credit for time served 235 days. Additional charge of identity theft-transfer/possess/use identity of other person was dismissed.

Luke S. Soundara, 38, of St. James was convicted of open bottle in motor vehicle; fined $185. Also convicted of littering on highway; fined $100.

Mathew A. Mowrey, 21, of Lakota, Iowa was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Additional charge of no proof of motor vehicle insurance was dismissed.
