Kiley L. Talamantes, 23, of Fairmont was convicted of third-degree driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $910, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 362 days for two years, credit for time served three days, two years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign all releases of information, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charges of third-degree operate motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, and failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle were both dismissed.

Nathan D. Mathiason, 40, of Andover received a stay of adjudication on a charge of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $400, one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, sentence to service five days for indeterminate, no same or similar. Additional charges of vehicle window restrictions-tint too dark, possess/sale small amount of marijuana-no remuneration, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited, were all dismissed.

Ochan Omot Ochogi, 23, of Austin, Minn. was convicted of uninsured vehicle-owner violation; fined $385, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Also convicted of operate vehicle with expired registration; fined $150, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charge of contributing to the delinquency of a child or status as petty offender was dismissed.

David O. Otiego, 28, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Also convicted of hands free law-engage in cellular phone or video call; fined $50.

Steven D. Nowak, 33, of Welcome was convicted of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $485, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for two years, two years unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charge of speeding was dismissed.
