General windshield prohibitions-no objects suspended between driver and windshield — Grant L. Bieniek, 31, of Sauk Rapids; fined $125.

Lisa L. Schroeder, 59, of Rake, Iowa received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult-uses/manages/takes property for benefit of someone else; fined $10,090.78, restitution $10,090.78, sentenced to jail 12 days, serve four weekends in the Martin County Jail beginning six months after sentencing, if $1,000 in restitution is paid within six months then jail sentence will be waived, five years supervised probation, community work service 10 hours for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, make monthly payments toward restitution on a schedule to be determined by probation agent, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, work with agent to get supervision transferred to Iowa, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

Tammy S. Sherwood, 54, of Ceylon had a felony charge of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult-uses/manages/takes property for benefit of someone else continued for dismissal; two years unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no theft-related charges, no theft, no control over protected/vulnerable person’s finances or power of attorney.

Steven D. Willette, 54, of Fairmont was convicted of crimes against railroad-trespass or allow animals on track, yard or bridge; fined $2,800, restitution $2,800, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, pay restitution. Additional charge of fail to mail or deliver motor vehicle certificate of title to department within specified timeframes was dismissed.

Troy J. Larsen, 53, of Truman was convicted on a felony charge of possess ammunition/any firearm-conviction or adjudicated delinquent for crime of violence; fined $1,085, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 60 months, stayed for five years, five years supervised probation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow recommendations from probation agent in regards to couples therapy, complete chemical assessment if requested by probation agent, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, follow any updated psychological or mental health assessment as recommended by probation agent, contact probation officer as directed, supply DNA sample, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

Brenton M. Huntley, 23, of Wallingford, Iowa was convicted of operate any vehicle carelessly on street or highway; fined $75, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charge of fourth-degree driving while impaired is dismissed.

Jesse W. Houfer, 41, of Alpha was convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $385, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charge of driving after revocation was dismissed.
