Careless driving-operate any vehicle carelessly on street or highway — Christian J. Jorgenson, 20, of Fairmont; fined $185.

Alfredo Armendariz Jr., 38, of Butterfield received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $750, sentenced to jail 19 days, credit for time served 19 days, one year supervised probation, complete chemical assessment within 30 days and follow all recommendations of evaluation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, complete diagnostic assessment within 90 days, pay all fees and follow all recommendations, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. An additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited, was dismissed.

Marvyn W. Hansen, 57, of Sherburn received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon; fined $1,000, sentenced to jail 109 days, credit for time served 109 days, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete a mental health diagnostic assessment as directed by supervising agent and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, refrain from the use of any form of violence including either violent behavior and/or threats of violence, provide discharge paperwork and recommendations for care and aftercare from Anoka Care treatment, provide list and proof of all prescribed medications to probation officer, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. A separate felony charge of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon was dismissed.

Taylor Escobar Lopez, 25, of Fairmont was convicted of operate motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance; sentenced to jail 90 days, credit for time served 25 days.

Thomas J. Eyanson, 23, of Fairmont was convicted of speeding; fined $145. Additional charge of no proof of motor vehicle insurance was dismissed.

Jordan T. Rawls, 22, of Pittsburgh, Pa. received a stay of adjudication on a charge of speeding; fined $300, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, have no other speeding offenses, no same or similar.
