Speeding — Joseph L. Bonsack, 17, of Walters; Jeffrey E. Faller, 56, of Cranford, N.J.; each fined $125.

Joseph Slabaugh, 23, of Bremen, Ind.; fined $135.

Failure to obtain new drivers license after changing name or address — Pedro Juarez, 60, of Kiester; fined $105.

Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Austin J. Johnson, 21, of Wells; fined $110.

Water safety violation-fail to have legal lifesaving device on board watercraft or waterfowl boat — Lynnea J. Eckhoff, 27, of St. Peter; fined $110.

Deziree R. Heitz, 33, of Blue Earth was convicted of domestic assault-subsequent violation; fined $285, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 358 days for two years, credit for time served seven days, two years supervised probation, sentence to service three days for indeterminate, no same or similar, complete domestic abuse counseling/treatment as directed by agent, complete updated chemical dependency evaluation within 30 days and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no contact with victim(s), follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law.

An additional felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana was dismissed.

Lorenzo D. Bernard-Warford, 22, of Coon Rapids was convicted of speeding; fined $385. Additional charge of careless driving-operate any vehicle carelessly on street or highway was dismissed.

Randal E. Sabin, 63, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, was convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $110. Additional charge of no insurance-owner violation was dismissed.

Ramon Briseno, 32, of Winnebago was convicted of disorderly conduct-offensive/abusive/boisterous/noisy/obscene; fined $185, sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days. Additional charge of interrupt/interfere/impede/disrupt 911 emergency communications call was dismissed.
