Kole A. Krumrey, 24, of Truman was convicted of possession of small amount of marijuana-no remuneration; fined $135. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited; fined $50.

Christian A. Arvizu, 22, of Fairmont was convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $200. Also convicted of driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type; fined $185. Also convicted of possession of small amount of marijuana-no remuneration; fined $50. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited; fined $50.

Zakary C. Hill, 28, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of issuance of dishonored check(s); commit to Commissioner of Corrections 13 months, stayed five years, sentenced to jail 150 days, credit for time served 150 days, five years supervised probation, sentence to service 10 days for indeterminate, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, complete chemical assessment within 60 days of sentencing, follow recommendations of evaluation, report to agent as directed following sentencing, pay restitution within first two years of probation, cognitive skill training as directed by supervising agent, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored.

Gerold D. Lewis, 54, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of predatory offender-knowingly commits act or fails to fulfill registration requirement; fined $85, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 366 days, supply DNA sample. Also convicted of fifth-degree assault; sentenced to jail 90 days, credit for time served 43 days, concurrent with other case. Additional felony charge of predatory offender-knowingly commits act or fails to fulfill registration requirement was dismissed.

Aaron J. Schmidtgal, 49, of Fairmont was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, attend MADD impact panel and pay for the costs, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing at the request of the court or a licensed peace officer who has reasonable suspicion to believe in defendant has been using, no same or similar. Additional charge of operate motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol was dismissed.
