Annual Homecoming Feed coming to FHS Partners in Education will host its annual Homecoming Feed for Fairmont Junior Senior High School from 5-7 pm, Friday, Sept. 20, at the Fairmont Mahoney Field. Food served includes brats, hot dogs, vegan plant-based hot dogs, chips, sauerkraut, cookies, and water. Should the weather be uncooperative, the event will be transitioned into the high school Commons. Attendants donating $6 are encouraged to fund Partners in Education. Sports club to host trap-shooting event The East Chain Sportsman's Club will be holding a trap-shooting event beginning at 12 pm on Sunday, Sept. 22 at the club’s grounds located a half-mile north of East Chain on 254th Avenue. All trap shooters are welcome to partake in shooting ranges, shooting rounds, 16 yards, 25 yards, boondocks oakleys, and the shooter’s choice. The grill will be on all day for meals. Ruby’s Pantry slated Monday in Sherburn Ruby’s Pantry will be held Monday, Sept. 16, at the Regional Worship Center, 2 Crossroads Drive in Sherburn. Distribution will begin around 5:30 p.m. and continue until 7 p.m. This will be a drive-through distribution again. Limited pre-pay is available by going to rubyspantry.org and find the express track link. You can pre-pay until noon the day before the distribution.
