City of Fairmont continues leaf pickup

This week and next week, the City of Fairmont will be making a pass-through to pick up leaves. From Nov. 4 to Nov. 8, properties north of Blue Earth Avenue and Lake Avenue will be on the schedule. From Nov. 12 to Nov. 15, properties south of Blue Earth Avenue and Lake Avenue and north of Lair Road and Cardinal Street will be on the schedule. Have leaves ready for pick-up by 7 a.m. on Monday morning corresponding to the scheduled week. Leaves will be picked up during the entire week so some leaves may not be removed until Friday. Leaves should be placed in a windrow on the boulevard. It is the resident’s responsibility to ensure leaf piles are accessible. Any inaccessible leaves, bags, sticks, rocks, trash, or other non-conforming items will not be picked up. The City offers a Yard Waste Recycling site for city residents: located at 1880 100th Street. City residents can drop off brush, leaves, grass clippings, and personal yard waste. For additional information, contact Fairmont City Hall at (507) 238-9461.

Starting at $2.99/week.
