PSQG to meet

The Prairie Star Quilt Guild (PSQG) will meet on Monday, April 13, at the Fairmont Evangelical Covenant Church in Fairmont. A class by Lin Hilgendorf will be at 9 a.m. The Quilt Board will meet at 12:30 p.m. The regular membership meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. There will be a demonstration by a member, and Sew and Share. Sherburn blood drive

An American Red Cross blood drive will be from 1 to 6 p.m. on Monday, April 13, at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn. To schedule a blood donation, visit www.redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS/1-800-733-2767.

Fairmont Service Club to meet

The Fairmont Service Club will meet at noon on Tuesday, April 14, at the Best Western hotel in Fairmont. The meeting’s speaker will be Evie Anderson from Evie’s Essentials. All are welcome to attend.

Pioneer Museum veteran’s presentation

​​A Martin County veterans presentation featuring Mel Langford’s military experiences will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, at the Pioneer Museum in Fairmont. All are welcome to attend.

Books and Brews at Fmt library

Books and Brews will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Join a relaxed morning of coffee and conversation. Library staff will highlight books. MLHS Spring Rummage/Bake Sale

The Martin Luther High School (MLHS) in Northrop Spring Rummage and Bake Sale will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 17, and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 18. Items will include clothing, shoes, toys, books, household items, furniture, baked goods and more. The proceeds will support MLHS. For additional information, visit www.martinlutherhs.com.

CER acupressure for relief

An acupressure workshop to relieve migraines, headaches, nausea and vertigo will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 20, in a Zoom meeting. The class will focus on the points that relieve and prevent these conditions. Registration is required, costs $29, closes April 16 and can be completed on the CER webstore.
