CreativiTEA Party

The CreativiTEA Party, by Fairmont Women of Today, will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 11, at the Red Rock Center for the Arts in Fairmont. Activities will include butterfly, three-dimensional wooden flower and beaded arts and crafts, cookie decorating in partnership with Butter Babes of Minnesota, a photo booth in partnership with Prolific Memories, pinwheels, temporary tattoos, nail art and hair accessories. Fairmont Women of Today will serve yogurt parfaits, pastries and beverages. Free-will donations towards the Backpack Program will be accepted. Angela’s Egg Roll in Fmt

Angela’s Egg Roll food truck will be present from 4 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, at the Fairmont Brewing Company.

Bingo in Armstrong, Iowa

Armstrong Betterment Club will host Bingo from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, at Armstrong VFW Post 5232 in Armstrong, Iowa. The cost is $1 per card per round. Ten rounds will be played. There will be a 50 percent payout on rounds one through nine, and a 100 percent payout on round 10. The proceeds will support yearly events by the Armstrong Betterment Club in Armstrong, Iowa.

Polka service at Shiloh Lutheran

Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore will have its 24th annual polka service at 10:30 a.m. (donuts and coffee served at 9:30 a.m.) on Sunday, April 12. The music will be by Chuck Thiel and The Jolly Ramblers. Free-will donations will be accepted.

Robotics/Edies’ Fundraiser

The Fairmont High School (FHS) Robotics Team, The Megahertz, and Edie’s Restaurant in Fairmont will host host a free-will donation Edie’s Pancake Feed from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 12. Proceeds will support the FHS Robotics Team’s attendance at the World Championship.
