Kiwanis to meet

Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for their weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The meeting’s speaker will be Fairmont Economic Development Authority (EDA) Coordinator Ned Koppen. Koppen will update the members present about the latest happenings in the city of Fairmont EDA. All are welcome to attend.

Music Bingo at Lake Belt

The Old Alley Quilt Shop in Sherburn will host a Cuddle Robe Class at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, in a Zoom meeting. Class registration is required and costs $25. Materials are not included in the class fee. Fabric requirements include three yards of luxe cuddle hide for the robe, hoodie and pockets, and 1 1/2 yards of luxe cuddle hide for bands, front, pocket, sleeve hood lining and belt. Bingo in Armstrong, Iowa

Armstrong Betterment Club will host Bingo from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, at Armstrong VFW Post 5232 in Armstrong, Iowa. The cost is $1 per card per round. Ten rounds will be played. There will be a 50 percent payout on rounds one through nine, and 100 percent payout on round 10. The proceeds will support yearly events by the Armstrong Betterment Club in Armstrong, Iowa.
