FHS to perform JH production

Fairmont High School (FHS) Theater Department will present its junior high production, “Is There A Doctor in the House?” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, in the Performing Arts Center at FHS. For additional information, contact FHS at (507) 238-4411.

Analog Games for cribbage tournament

Analog Games will host a cribbage tournament at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at 207 Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. Tournament entry is $1. The winner will receive the champion’s cribbage board.

Permit to Carry Course

Chandler’s Conceal and Carry will host a MN/WI/FL Permit to Carry course from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at the Fairmont Trap Club in Granada. Students do not need to have taken Hunter’s Safety or have any previous firearms training or experience to take this course. All are welcome. This course will allow students to apply for or renew their MN Permit to Carry, allowing them to carry in 35 states. With this class, students can also apply for or renew their FL non-resident Permit to Carry, adding one additional state to carry in for a total of 36. Chandler’s will provide everything needed to complete this one-day course. This will include all required paperwork and applications, eye/ear protection, a target, the use of a handgun and ammo at no additional cost. Strawberry sales at Fairmont’s Live Fit

The Fruit Truck will sell sun-ripened fresh Florida strawberries, Elliot pecans and South Dakota honey from 3:15 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, in the parking lot of Live Fit Sport and Wellness Center in Fairmont. Cash or card will be accepted. Pre-payment is not available. The items are first-come, first-served.
