Kiwanis to meet
Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for their weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The speaker of the meeting will be Lisa Kibler of the Salvation Army. The public is invited to attend.
Art Mart in downtown Fairmont
The Imagine Martin Art Mart will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, at West 1st Street and Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. The Art Mart will be held every other Thursday until September. For additional information about the event, contact info@imaginemartin.com.
Free testers at Recovery in Motion
Recovery in Motion in Fairmont will offer free-of-charge lifesaving Narcan nasal spray and fentanyl test strips to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 20 at 1100 Indus Street in Fairmont. Without the test strips, visitors can come and learn more about Recovery in Motion and its mission.
Silo ’67 for Friday karaoke
Silo ’67 will have karaoke at 9 p.m. on Friday, June 20, at the Eagles Club building. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. For additional information, visit the official ‘Silo 67 Facebook page.
Fairmont Farmer’s Market
The Fairmont Farmer’s Market will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 21, at the Five Lakes Centre parking lot in Fairmont.
Triathlons in Fairmont
Marty’s Youth Triathlon will begin at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, June 20, at the Aquatic Park in Fairmont. The Fairmont Sprint Triathlon will be at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, at Gomsrud Park in Fairmont. The Bacon 5K Fun Run/Walk will be at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, at Gomsrud Park in Fairmont. Imagine Martin’s garden tours
Imagine Martin Gardens that Inspire tours will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. Journey through six gardens, landscapes, and garden designs that showcase nature. Coffee and desserts will be served from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Chubb House. Tickets are $20 and available at Imagine Martin’s Information Hub and the Red Rock Center for the Arts in Fairmont. All proceeds will benefit The Chubb House. The event is made possible by the American Legion, Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center, Doolittle’s Carpet and Paint, Giddy-up Boutique, Kim Kreiss-Exit Realty/Great Plains, Fairmont National Agency and the Martin County Historical Society.
Family Fun Fridays in Fairmont
