Wednesday coffee at the Chubb House

The historic Chubb House in Fairmont is open from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, June 18 for coffee and more. Stop in to learn more about the first and only brick home in Martin County, and the man who built it in 1867 for his family, Dr. Orville P. Chubb. Get acquainted with Fairmont’s rich history and the volunteers who have worked hard to preserve this building. Worship in the Park

Community Worship at the Park by Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont will be at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday at the Sylvania Park Bandshell in Fairmont.

4-H at Truman/Trimont libraries

4-H activities will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, at the Trimont Library in Trimont and at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, at the Truman City Library in Truman.

Community Thursday tennis

All abilities are welcome to play tennis at 6 p.m. each Thursday at the Fairmont High School tennis courts. RSVP is not required. For additional information, contact Dawn Becker at (507) 236-2192.

Key Quest Dragon Kingdom

This one-of-a-kind, choose-your-own adventure, life-sized role-playing game will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday to Friday, July 7 to July 17, in Room 215 at the Southern Minnesota Educational Campus in Fairmont. This is for children entering grades third to sixth. Challenge your ability to think quickly and make good decisions. You create your own character, whether they are a Knight, Princess, Blacksmith, Dragon Hunter, Shop Owner, King or Queen, the decisions are up to you. Over 700 different paths make each game truly unique to the participants. Registration is required, costs $58, closes June 19 and can be completed on the CER webstore. Summer Cardinal Prime

The Cardinal Prime After-School Program is offered during the school year at Fairmont Elementary. Come join us this summer to check out all the fun and amazing activities. S.T.E.M. projects, building activities, field sports, arcade games, playground fun and video games are available this week.
