Archery 1
Archery 1 will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, June 9, to Friday, June 13, at Fairmont High School. This course is for youth and adults interested in archery but unsure where to begin. Students will learn about safety, equipment, shooting fundamentals, marksmanship and sportsmanship. Registration is required, costs $41, closes June 2, and can be completed on the CER webstore. Archery 2
Archery 2 will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. from Monday, June 9 to Friday, June 13 at the Fairmont High School. This course is for youth and adults who have completed Archery 1 and would like to work on their shooting fundamentals and marksmanship. It will include scoring and challenging archery games. The shooting distance will be increased as the archer improves their accuracy. Registration is required, costs $41, closes June 2, and can be completed on the CER webstore. Sign language basics
Sign language basics will be held at 4 p.m. on June 2 at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. In this class, the library will welcome a deaf speaker to speak about deaf culture.
