Kiwanis invite government representatives to speak

Early Risers Kiwanis invites the community to come to The Ranch restaurant for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. followed by a 6:50 a.m. meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 2. The group will welcome featured speakers, Wayne Hasek and Michele Miller, local government representatives. Join Kiwanis for breakfast and a wonderful talk from the two representatives.

Spaghetti Night at Huntley church

The Community Covenant Church of Huntley will have a spaghetti dinner from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2. The meal includes spaghetti, salad, a breadstick, and a dessert.

Library welcoming fall with arts and crafts

The Martin County Library in Fairmont invites children in the community to come to their newest drop-in event and make fall tree crafts from 10:30 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, Oct. 5. All supplies will be provided for the children on the day of the event. There is no fee to attend, and pre-registration is not required.
