Sportsman Club sets shooting event

East Chain Sportsman’s Club will hold a trap shoot event beginning noon Sunday, May 19, at the club located a half-mile north of East Chain on 254th Avenue. They will be shooting practice rounds, then 16-yard and 25-yard Oakley’s and Boondocks and shooters choice. All shooters are welcome. The grill will be on all day. Genesis Academy to hold open house Monday

Genesis Classical Academy invites interested parents, grandparents and community members to visit the school during their open house beginning 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 20, at the campus at 620 1st Ave. SW in Winnebago. Join them for a short informational meeting, tour the school and meet their staff. Genesis Classical Academy is a nondenominational, Christian classical academy which is now enrolling students in PreK-Grade 12 for the 2024-2025 school year.
