MCW building referendum vote planned Monday

Martin County West (MCW) School Board is planning to have another building bond referendum election on May 14, 2024. The school board will need to vote to proceed with the May election before March 1 and will likely vote at the next school board meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at Sherburn Elementary School. Every adult living in the district is encouraged to come to this meeting. You must file a request to speak by today, Feb. 23.

Red Rock seeking cast for upcoming mystery show

Red Rock Center for the Arts in Fairmont is now casting for the 13th annual Murder Mystery comedy based dinner show on April 19 and 20. No experience is necessary, just a fun, outgoing personality. No long rehearsals, no scripts or memorization required. The play is created spontaneously by the performers based on the given storyline under the guidance of acting director, Paul Warshauer. Actors must be available for one rehearsal at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, and the production which takes place at 6 p.m. Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20.
