Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured speakers will be Kate Hawkins and Diana Mosloski from Heavens Table Food Shelf. The public is invited.

Readers needed for “A Christmas Carol”

Do you like to read? Volunteer readers from the community are invited to the first practice reading of “A Christmas Carol.” This practice will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Red Rock Center for the Arts, 222 E. Blue Earth Ave. in Fairmont. The fifth annual reading of this classic will be held in December. Donations will be given to Heaven’s Table Food Shelf. Come and try out, you’ll have fun.
