Spice of Life meeting Thursday in Fairmont

CREST’s “Spice of Life” program is where persons living with Alzheimer’s/Dementia and their caregivers come together with others and enjoy a fun time. This month’s activity will center around June Dairy Month. Spice of Life will take place 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 15, at the CREST office, located at 820 Winnebago Ave. in Fairmont. There is no charge for this event, but RSVP’s are encouraged by calling (507) 235-3833. Hope to see you there.

Bake sale fundraiser Saturday

Martin County Humane Society will hold a bake sale fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at Fleet & Farm Supply Ace Hardware Store, 1300 N. State St., Fairmont. Proceeds from the sale will help with expenses for the animals at the shelter in Fairmont. Everyone is welcome.

Macey Bearson of Fairmont was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic years at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Autumn Wolf of Truman graduated and was awarded a TPLE associate’s degree during a commencement ceremony held May 10 at Alexandria Technical & Community College in Alexandria, Minn.
