Fairmont Service Club to meet

The Fairmont Service Club will meet at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the Best Western in Fairmont. The meeting’s speaker will be Scuba Instructor Tom Rodgers.

Goldfinch Estates Holiday Musical Bingo

Holiday Musical Bingo will be from 2 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the Vista Prairie at Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont. Celebrate the season with a fun twist on bingo featuring your favorite holiday tunes. Seniors from the Fairmont area are invited to enjoy an afternoon of music, laughter and friendly competition. Refreshments and snacks will be served.

Tuesday Prayer Days at RWC

Tuesday Prayer Days will be from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn.

Pizza Ranch Kids Eat Free Tuesdays

Pizza Ranch buffet restaurant in Fairmont will have a special promotion, “Kids Eat Free Every Tuesday Night,” for children ages 0 to 12, beginning at 4 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Kiwanis to collect gloves

The Fairmont Early Risers Kiwanis Club will collect mittens and gloves during the week of Dec. 15 at the Hy-Vee grocery store in Fairmont. A basket will be set up near the Salvation Area bell-ringing tripod. Collected items will be distributed to area residents.

CER Canva for beginners

A Canva workshop for beginners will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, in a Zoom meeting. Students will learn to create stunning designs from scratch or use templates with step-by-step guidance for any digital image they need. Whether it’s online documents, business cards, email signatures, or more, students will leave this class with the confidence and skills to use Canva effectively and creatively.
