May free meal Sunday at SJV

St. John Vianney Hope Café will be serving their free May meal in-person at 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 22. All are invited to join them for a delicious dinner at St. John Vianney Church, 901 S. Prairie Ave., Fairmont. If you are unable to join them in person due to lack of transportation, please let them know so they can see about delivering meals to those who can’t join. Fairmont Chamber sets June 3 golf outing

Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its 25th annual golf outing on Friday, June 3, at Rose Lake Golf Club located east of Fairmont. This is a fundraiser for Junior Achievement for grades K-6 and 8th grade, and Area Career Exploitation for 10th grade. The event is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. There will be a chipping contest where you can participate as your team approaches the 10th hole. They will also have hole prizes, game improvers available, door prizes, dinner and more. Please register by calling (507) 235-5547.
