Fairmont Library to host Books and Brews: Morning Edition

Bring a cup of coffee and join library staff beginning 10 a.m. Monday, May 9, at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. Staff will talk about top book club picks and any book club kits that are available for checkout. This program is open to the public and there is no cost to attend. Prairie Star Quilters to hold meeting

Prairie Star Quilt Guild will hold its next meeting Monday, May 9, at Fairmont Evangelical Covenant Church, 901 Woodland Ave., Fairmont. The quilt board will meet at 12:30 p.m., followed by a general membership meeting at 1:30 p.m. They will have a short business meeting then Deb Wallace will give a talk on labeling quilts.
