CER to offer upcoming community activity

Fairmont Community Education & Recreation (CER) will offer an upcoming community activity. A new class, Painting with Designs by Kandvas, will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, in Room 135 at the SMEC building, 115 S. Park St. in Fairmont. Please enter through door #1. The instructor will talk you through the process, from mixing paint colors and what brush strokes to use. Beginners are welcome. You don’t need to bring anything along. The class fee includes canvas, all painting supplies, and use of a protective smock. Registration closes by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 7.
