People First set Tuesday meeting

People First will hold their next monthly meeting from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4,

at the Pizza Ranch in Fairmont. Fudge sale prizes will be awarded to those who sold fudge in 2021. Afterwards, people can choose to eat their meal at the Pizza Ranch or head out for a different destination. Pitching clinics by Rick Pauly

Fairmont Community Education & Recreation (CER) will offer special activities next week. There will be 3 separate pitching clinics by Rick Pauly. First, “Elite Pitching for Coaches and Parents” will be held 7-9:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, in room 1017 at Fairmont Elementary School, 714 Victoria St. in Fairmont. The fee is $30. Secondly, “Mechanics of Elite Pitchers” will be held 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 8, in the main gymnasium at Fairmont High School, 900 Johnson St. in Fairmont. The fee will be $100. Lastly, “Advanced Movement” Pitching Mechanics Clinic, will be held 1-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, in the main gymnasium at Fairmont High School, 900 Johnson St. in Fairmont.
