CREST “Lunch & Learn” Event in Sherburn

CREST will be having a “Lunch & Learn” event 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the Senior Citizens Center, located at 21 East First Street in Sherburn. The program for this month will be “Westward, Ho” and will feature pictures from the Badlands, the Big Horn Mountains, Yellowstone, and the Grand Tetons. A meal featuring beef stew, biscuits, and an apple dessert will be served following the program. This event is open to anyone in Martin County and there is no cost to attend.

United Methodist Church plans free drive-up meal.

The Fairmont United Methodist Church, 119 E. 2nd St, is planning a free drive up meal 5-6 p.m., or until the food is gone, Wednesday, Oct. 6 and 13. Please drive up to the south entrance of the church on 2nd St. The menu for Oct. 6 is meatloaf & mashed potatoes, fruit and dessert. Oct. 13 is scalloped potatoes & ham, fruit and dessert.

Everyone is welcome.

Fairmont Service Club to meet
