Class of 1960 to meet

Fairmont High School class of 1960 and friends will meet for lunch 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Pizza Ranch in Fairmont.

Garden Club sets Wednesday meeting

City of Lakes Garden Club of Fairmont will meet 9 a.m. Wednesday at 1905 Albion Ave., Fairmont. The meetings are open to visitors and new members, but those interested are asked to RSVP their attendance to Leslie Walkowiak at (651) 895-6578 so adequate accommodations can be made. There will be a business meeting followed by a presentation on “Taking Care of Yourself While Gardening.” The purpose of the organization is to encourage all forms of horticulture in the home and community. Those interested in becoming a member or who would like more information about the Garden Club may call or text Leslie Walkowiak at (651) 895-6578.
