CREST offering caregiver support

CREST is offering assistance to individuals in Martin County who are taking care of a loved one with dementia, Parkinson’s, or other debilitating diseases. Illnesses and life changes are difficult and stressful. Everyone struggles with the day-to-day changes and challenges of caring for a loved one. Four caregiver support groups meet monthly at various locations around Martin County to offer support and encouragement to caregivers that they aren’t alone in the caregiving process and don’t need to handle the situation by themselves. A specific topic is discussed each month and a time is available for questions that participants can ask regarding their caregiving experience. For more information about these caregiver support groups, please call the CREST office at (507) 235-3833 and ask for Joyce Peterson.
