Blood donation opportunity Tuesday

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held 1-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Lewisville Legion Post 561, 121 Lewis St. W. in Lewisville. Extra sanitization will be in place. Please wear a face covering and practice good physical distancing. To schedule an appointment, please call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org. Donors of all blood types are needed. Everyone is encouraged to donate blood to help keep up a strong blood supply during the winter months when inclement weather and seasonal illnesses can impact donor giving.

Marissa Steinhaus of Fairmont, and Isaac Hedstrom of Lakefield, were named to the honors list for the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year at Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, Wis.
